FetchV is unable to provide video downloading support for YouTube due to the following reasons:
Firstly, there are copyright restrictions.
YouTube uses digital rights management technology to protect its video content. FetchV is also unable to provide downloading support for other videos that use digital rights protection. Additionally, when using FetchV to save online videos, please be aware of copyright issues. This tool cannot identify all copyrighted content and is not responsible for such content.
Secondly, FetchV is only suitable for downloading online videos that use common web video playback technologies.
Common web video playback technologies include playing videos through m3u8 index files or directly within the HTML5 video tag, such as non-streaming MP4, WebM, and other video formats. FetchV cannot download online videos that do not use these playback technologies or are encrypted. Since YouTube uses video playback technologies that are not the aforementioned common web video playback technologies, we are unable to provide support for downloading YouTube videos.
Thirdly, The developer agreement of the Google Chrome Web Store.
Due to the developer agreement of the Google Chrome Web Store, most video downloading extensions, including FetchV, are restricted from providing support for downloading YouTube videos.
